Super Famicom

Colourful characters as bright as the descending spheres which send immoveable blocks raining down on your opponents side of the screen. Plenty of emotion in both victory and defeat with Konami’s polish in presentation in ample evidence. Full title: Tsuyoshi Shikkari Shinasai Taisen Puzzle Dama (or loosely translated as: Sort it out Tsuyoshi.)
Super Famicom

Blocks become plants and animals on later levels to spice up the action. Comes with an extra GT mode to allow the handheld owners to link up for two player action.
Famicom Cart
Action
A more refined look in line with the PC Engine incarnations of the bomb and run blast from Hudson. A simple concept, but remains the height of multiplayer gaming and, as later versions prove, the formula is best suited to the full screen, 2D look.
Gamecube
Action
Capcom’s surprise decision to bring its Resident Evil series to the GameCube shocked those who knew Nintendo’s policy on mature themed games almost as much as those dogs jumping through the window shocked Genki. Looks absolutely wonderful on the GC making it well worthy of a revisit.
Wonderswan

Particularly in the UK where Mr Jordan was building up a basketball frenzy, no doubt helped by some nice boots for fans to sample.
