A triple A title fit for any platform the likes of which the FX was crying out for. The anime cut scenes have a smoky, Golgo 13 feel to their retro approach adding much to the presentation which can often be an after thought in shoot em ups. And the graphical effects using parallax and transparencies merely get the gaming juices going. The soundtrack gets you in the mood to let rip a few bursts of laser blasts - plenty of which are required to dispatch the shiny hulks of bosses. Demonstrates the immense potential of the platform.
