Out Run remains one of Genki's golden game centre moments with the multiple route option and the feel of freedom on the open highways still managing to bring a tear to our rose-tinted spectacles. The freedom of choice in the route to take, at least for those in control of the car enough when the fork in the road comes around, adds much to the experience. And the image of the blonde babes golden locks flowing freely behind the passenger seat is burned firmly on Genki's retina. This retro racer is well worth a look in anyone's rear view mirror as you kick back with the radio blaring out and wind through your hair.
