SD F1 Grand Prix (Cart Only)
The SD of the title refers to the 'super deformed' characters: shrunk down, super cute animals. Choosing Mario Kart as a game to clone has no real shame, such are the timeless play mechanics of Nintendo's masterpiece. And Video System have remained true to the Kyoto companies design brief with lava, beach, mud and ice based levels. F-Zero's influence is also in there with the power up pit lane used to restore depleted energy. Includes a Grand Prix mode where start positions on the grid are determined by a couple of warm up laps. Also includes a variety of camera angles including an overhead view. A nice variation on the Mario Kart theme.
