In terms of visual splendor it doesn't quite match the mighty arcade, nor does the home version add various superflous options on the main menu. Instead you get a top drawer shooter to really blow you away with its beefy power ups and ability to crash you ship into opposing vessels, a la Mars Matrix on the DC. Those power ups are the main crux of the scoring system: keep collecting them and the multiplier meter remains healthy allowing you to clock up big scores. Just try to keep focused with the colourful 3D backgrounds.
