Based on the superbly slick coin - op, this conversion to the PS2 is also faithful to the manga source material as main man Takumi secretly street races whilst carrying out his duties as a tofu delivery boy. Successfully finishing in top spot sees you pick a card to allow you to improve your vehicle, but it takes a bit of practise to hit the heights of first place, especially racing in the dark, though it makes for great atmospherics.
