Gunbird 1&2

Bumper compilation of Atlus fine shooters. Part one is a very humourous (well at least in a Japanese way if two, daft, slap stick blokes make you laugh) retro blast that has aged like a fine claret and can sit proudly next to Gunbird 2. Good variety in the levels including a wild west stage to help it stand out from the pack. Plus different game modes and bonus art work. Weapons also vary depending on the character you choose. Part two is a Psikyo developed vertically scrolling shmup starring Marion on her broomstick among the eight playable characters, mercifully a wee bit more forgiving than other old school blasts recommending itself to those whose thumbs are quite so callused yet, especially with the cartoon style town and sprites. Character choice is of critical importance to making progress.
