A continuation of the series which has changed little over the various platforms remaining true to its 2D roots with charming sprites and quick fire controls keeping the adrenalin flowing. Based more loosely on the real wrestling leagues without any official license, Fire Pro has a staggering array of leotarded legends to get to grips with around four hundred competitors. Add to that the create a wrestler option and there really is plenty to get the teeth into. Story mode is based on the career of the wrestler up to date and brings the series out to date with some smooth animated cut scenes. Victory Road is a more straightforward route to the top and the title fight. Most importantly for Genki though the ropes can be bounded off to deliver that sucker blow. Such playability makes this well worth of a closer look.
