Dodonpachi

Sequel to the Cave arcade classic Donpachi, which was also converted to the Saturn. Dodonpachi oozes confidence to stand proud at the top of the class with no slow down - an amazing feat considering the arcade version had some. The wave of attacks, chain shot that works as a score multiplier with easily read meter to display the time before the multiplier cancels out and general style of this title was often mimicked (but rarely bettered) showing what an instrumental release it was. And this is a truly stunning port.
