Played as a devil that will look familiar to fans of Ghouls and Ghosts, the bulk of the gameplay is platform based with a little help from the demon's wings. Being able to fling fireballs at the gothic ghoulies that hinder your progress is another benefit to being a gargoyle like demon. Completion of a section reveals a mode seven map (what developer could ever resist a bit of mode seven coding?) Where you can select your next port of call. Yet the real graphical splendour has been saved for the gaming world which shows off Capcom's programming prowess. Plenty of cavernous secret areas to explore and savour. Always commanding a good price with such a fine company name on the box. Known as Demons Crest in the West.
