The backgrounds look like they are taken from actual locales in Japan be it the warehouse with light streaming in the windows, down the docks or just out in the streets. Taking down an opponent rewards the player with a FMV sequence using the license well. Yet this game stands up equally fine without any big license due to its slick combat engine and great use of weaponry with some special special moves.
