CONTRA THE HARD CORPS Contra's run and gun action never made the transition to full 3D, but with epoch setting titles like this it was never going to be an easy shift into 3D. A more appropriate title for the game would have come from the Japanese original subtitle: Hardcore. The protective slide is a necessity to progress with one hit deaths. The parallax levels add a glorious sheen to the whole title with cityscapes scrolling past. Just a shame you aren't give a second to appreciate them. A real, rare treat. Second hand. Complete with registration card, though it has a slight impression on the corner. Cart sticker peel on reverse corner. A tiny scuff to the front cover of the game box where it has protruded from the front cover.
